2016 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
I need to thank our community and supporters for trusting me and our Board in our effort to make a targeted impact and shift our funding focus to "all that kids can be." Studies on Powell River continue to indicate that there is significant need in many sectors, and our children are experiencing the impact. That is why the Powell River & District United Way is taking action now. But we cannot do it alone. Donors, service providers, volunteers and problem-solvers: we need you. As our 40th year in the community closes, I am thankful for the members who have brought this organization to where it is today, hopeful, with renewed passion, as we work towards change.
